About Arizona Gives Day

Since 2014, the Hopi Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) has been participating in Arizona Gives Day (AZGD)!

It is a day of celebration and generous online giving to non-profit organizations across the state of Arizona. This online giving event helps raise awareness about the critical role Arizona non-profits play in our Arizona communities, including our Hopi non-profit organizations. It inspires others to give, creating a thriving and substantial support system for the education of Hopi people. Early Giving for Arizona Gives Day 2025 has begun, However, AZ Gives Day officially begins at 12 AM - 11:59 PM on April 1st, 2025!

Eyes on the Prize

Arizona Gives Day offers extra cash prizes to nonprofits of different categories and sizes. Prizes are awarded for the most money raised, the most donations made, and the most donations in a specific hour (aka "Power Hour") on April 1, 2025.

In hopes of winning a $2,000 Power Hour cash prize, $50 Donations (minimum donation amount) made on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, between 10 AM and 10:59 AM (AZ/MST) given to the HEEF via the Arizona Gives Day website, will be matched and doubled by our matching grant, making a greater impact in providing our people with educational scholarships. To help the HEEF raise more, we encourage you to give generously at this time.

We are encouraging our generous HEEF donors to join us and give a minimum of $50 from 10:00 AM to 10:59 AM (AZ/MST) on April 1st! Following last year’s Power Hour prize success, we have once again created a matching grant to help us reach our fundraising goal of $15,000.00, which would essentially help create full-semester scholarships.

There are also randomly drawn prizes for organizations that meet certain donation criteria. HEEF is one of only a handful of nonprofits that provide services to the Hopi communities, which are an integral and historical part of Arizona. Where to Donate

Now through Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, you may now donate to the Hopi Education Endowment Fund through the Arizona Gives Day website at www.azgives.org/hopieducationendowmentfund

Apart from donating during a set time (10:00 AM - 10:59 AM AZ/MST on 4/1/25), you can also share the word about our mission and invite others to #InvestinUs by using the hashtag #AZGivesDay.
